I’m Rick and have 5 years under my belt developing/engineering all sorts of web apps and some 3D applications. I specialise in React, CSS in JS (styled-components), SASS, webpack, CMS’s, storybook, GLSL, three.js, @react-three/fiber to name but a few. In my spare time I have spent 1000’s of hours coding and using blender , I say this not to boast but to show you how passionate I am about 3D, shaders and creating environments.

I am up for the challenge wether that be creating 3D environments in blender, or generating 3D environments in unity or unreal using its eco system and tooling (which I am starting to use unity more and more in my spare time).

🎨 Creative Coding

This is my passion and love, I have spent 1000’s of hours through blender, coding and writing shaders in GLSL. It’s probably accurate to call me a hobbyist. I also love writing about my work around 3D to help others in the 3D field.

I can show some projects both in code (webgl) and also inside of blender upon request 🙂

More recently I have been familiarising myself with unity and all the optimisations it has for webgl builds. In addition to this I’m really excited about learning about houdini assets and enjoy the additional benefits this would bring for building out procedural worlds or environments.
